We look forward to welcoming you to the North American Festival of Wales and the 80th Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu, in Cleveland, Ohio, this September.
In addition to all the Festival events, we have an outstanding lineup of tours. We are sure that you and your family will find something of interest from our selections.
Registration and full payment for these NAFOW Tours must be sent separately from your North American Festival of Wales Registration, with a separate check, to a different address. See Tour Registration form HERE for all additional information.

Thursday: Cleveland, What a Surprise! Tour

This narrated tour of Cleveland will take you through Downtown, including North Coast Harbor with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Flats and Warehouse Districts, progressing along the old Millionaire's row, past the cultural center at University Circle. After a drive through the historic Cultural Gardens with a brief stop at the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse the return drive will follow the Lake Erie shoreline.
Following lunch at the University Inn you'll spend the afternoon at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. Explore some, or all ten, distinctly different gardens and visit the Desert and Rain Cloud ecosystems in the conservatory.
This tour does not require a lot of walking for the city portion, but does require guests to handle a tray at the University Inn lunch stop.
Additional level of activity depends on individual afternoon choices.
Price: $70.00 p/p includes lunch. Tour departs hotel at 8:45 a.m. and returns about 4:30 p.m.


Saturday: Tour of Amish Country

Visit the Holmes County Amish Country, the second most popular tourist destination in Ohio. The sight of well-cared for farmsteads, rolling hills, clean and neat homes and a stop at an Amish farm and house will provide a glimpse into this lifestyle. Additional stops include Walnut Creek and Sugarcreek. Lunch will be served at a family-style restaurant.
Price: $97.00 p/p includes lunch. Tour leaves the hotel at 8:00 a.m. and returns about 4:30-5:00 p.m.


Monday: Train Tour through Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Sit back and enjoy a scenic train excursion through Cuyahoga National Park. The train passes through the heart of the park and runs along the Ohio and Erie Canal.
You will be treated to a full luncheon at the 356th Fighter Group Restaurant at the Akron-Canton airport. This authentic WWII restaurant is dedicated to the pilots of the P-47 Thunderbolts and the P-51 Mustangs that escorted B-17 Bombers across the English Channel to safety.
Price: $75.00 p/p includes lunch. Tour leaves the hotel at 7:45 a.m. and returns at approximately 3:30-4:00 p.m. All train cars are air conditioned and have restrooms.

Festival-goers will receive free in-room wi-fi and reduced self-parking of $10/day with in-and-out privileges (normally $18/day) when their rooms are reserved using one of the above methods.
